28 Chrysler wire wheels
Does anyone know besides money what is involved with changing wooden spoke wheels to wire spokes on a Chrysler Model 72? While I'm at it how about changing to later internal drum brakes but retaining my axle.

Sorry, I got Nothing...
But with that being said... I going to say that I don't think any basic brake conversion kits are out there.... More than likely it would have to be some along the lines of some type of set up from places like Pete&Jakes, So-Cal Speed Shop, Mooneyes, SPS, And how you would fabricate how to mount the master cylinder, is beyond me. I'm not saying its not possible. I just haven't seen one as you have described at any car shows that i have been to here in SO-CAL. But it's a cool thought !! Keep us posted...

Thanks for the response, definitely no kits available but I could put a Speedway dropped axle with a Ford transverse spring but trying to go with a ratty period correct race car look. I have a friend who has a ratty old Cobra which is so cool, dinged up, shitty paint but all the period correct race parts.
