C-Body tire widths

Greetings~

I have a 68' FuryIII, It has the 14x6? stock rims. I ordered the 14x7 magnum 500 wheels. My question is, whats the widest tire I can fit into the wheel wells with out rubbing? in the 14" tire.

Thanks in advance

I had a '68 Fury, put 14 x 7" magnum 500 wheels on it and a 245/60/14 tire would fit behind the skirts but, just barely.

Welcome to the forum!

And, we like pictures!

C Body Tires Wheel base 119.0 inch or 3023mm. It is calculate on the mathematics to Wheel base and Wheel width. So it's better to go to Motor mechanics, which are give a good suggestion for the Wheel width.

There is a tool that you bolt to your hub that will allow you to measure just what will work. Or go to "c-bodydrydock" and read the hundreds of posts on this very subject.
