Question A-body to B-body questions

im looking into getting a suregrip carrier unit out of an a-body 8 3/4 rear end into a 8 3/4 b-body and wondered if it worked. Also is the a-body "big bolt" pattern the same as the b-body? because i wanted to take the spindles from an a-body and put in my b-body, so i can have front disk brakes. thanks

If both cars are 8 3/4 diffs. The pumpkins should interchange. The large A body bolt pattern is the same as B body. Just measure accoss the studs if your unsure.

look at the ring gear it will have a stamp with the gear ratio, you will need the spindle to convert drum to disc and I do not know if the A-body is the same between ball joint to ball joint as the B-body
