1974 440 horsepower??

1974 440 horsepower??
Hey guys I just picked up a 1974 440 out of a motorhome it has a 4 barrel edelbrock on it. Anyone know the horse rating on these old dogs. I'm putting it in my 38 dodge pickup

It won't have the kind of numbers that it would have if it was in a 69-70 RR, but I am not sure.

The motors were not built the same between the cars and motorhomes. Don't get me wrong, the motor can still be built up to make some power. Hopefully you got the tranny as well out of the motorhome as the internals can handle more power stock than the standard 727s in the cars.

Cool because I did get the tranny and it's all still mated together ready to go it's a clean motor
