2 QUEST. TRANS MOUNT & FRAME CONECT.

First question. What is everyone thoughts on bolt on frame connectors ? 2nd question have owned many 4spd cars the 67 X I own is a 4spd ive noticed when I get on it hard or setting still & reave the motor the shifter handle moves side to side never had one do that before the motor & trany mounts are new bad mounts ? or just nature of the beast ?

Frame connectors are good for high horse power high torque cars with traction, as far as the shifter goes I would go over the bolts on the mounts all three and verify there all still good. Can't hurt.

Agree, first things first. I have only welded connectors in, the bolt in ones I've heard from the people that know say they are useless and firm up nothing.

I agree... Bolt in unit I dont like. AS for the shifter moving side to side... Common with weak mounts..
