2bbl to 4bbl intake

2bbl to 4bbl intake

i have a stock 318 with a 2bbl. i just bought a 4bbl edlebrock preformer.. i was wondering if i can just put it on or if i have to do cam and lifters and headers?

Have to, no. Should you? Probably. Depends on what you want out of the engine. If you are looking for a little pick up in power, then no, you won't have to. It would be better in the long run, and make more power if you match the components together..
