Hi, I have a 88 dodge d250 that is tbi and i want to swap out the 318 to a 360 and i know i can just swap intake manifolds but the 360 wont run right then, so i was going to go to a junkyard to find a 360 with a tbi injected intake manifold and i was curious if i need the computer and if i do will the plugs be the same. also i know the 360 has an externally balanced tc and i was wondering if the 360 tc will work ok in my trans, i dont c y it wouldnt but just want to check

Because you have a TBI system, you will need the computer for the 360 or have your old one re-tuned for the 360. Yes, you should be able to use the 360 TC in your tranny (they should both be a 727), you'll just need to make sure of the spline count on them.
