73 charger ignition problem

I can start the engine but can not turn it off. It just keeps running as if nothing happened. I have replaced just about everything. There is no power in the yellow wire coming into the ignition relay on the the firewall which I understand shuts the engine off when the key is turned off. I tried another ignition switch from my parts car and the same thing happened. I would really appreciate some suggestions.
Thanks, R

OK, no idea. I assume you replaced the ignition relay as well? If not, is it possible it or the wires going through the firewall are shorting?

Welcome to the board, wish I could be of more help.

Archer,
Thanks for the reply. I found the problem(s). The hot wire to the dash was fried and the clip to the ignition module was not connected well. Now I have a big mess to take care of. My next post will be under "need wire diagram".
