Is a '86 360 truck block a good core for a street performance rebuild?

Hell ya an '86 360 is a good starting piont. Build the stroker as planned!
I wonder if you have the hydraulic roller engine [not sure what year they sdtarted those]???

Is the truck a 4x4? If it is you might need to change the oil pan to a rear sump.
