Ive got a 86 grand fury with a 318 hooked up to an a904 transmission and currently im thinking about starting a auto to manual conversion. All my research has lead me to believe that the nv4500 is going to be the best transmission to use. Does anyone know if this has ever been done before and how difficult it's going to be?

 

On a side note I have been offered a free 360 la engine idle if it was set up for auto or manualtrans but im hoping I can get it and set up the trans outside of the car and then put it in as one unit to make things go slightly smoother.

 

A few things to consider.... The 360 is externally balanced. Left side motor mount is different. nv4500 has a low 1th gear not suitable for a car unless you want to pull tree stumps
