Car completely dead needed jumped and now starts with no problems

So im kinda stumped I never had a car do this before. Drove it all day started it numerous times, got over to my buddies left it sit for about an hour came out and completely dead. No lights nothing. We jumped the car it started up and ran just fine, it sat for a few days now and it cranked over just fine today. No accessories were left on when it sat so any ideas here?

Faulty wiring with the battery at times? Mine has done that, it will stall out one time within the week and be perfectly fine for the next few weeks.

connections

Check-clean and tighten all of the battery connections, both positive and negative at the battery and ground and starter.

mine started doing that, it could be the selonoid in the starter if your starters going bad it will need a jump to engage the starter

Well i'd think the solenoid too but i didnt have interior lights or anything w/ the key turned to to accessory. I'll check on the connections though they seemed ok when I looked the other day.
