Electronic ignition conversion?

Hi Guys

I want to convert my ignition from the old stock dizzy and setup I have to an electronic set up! I'm looking at Mopars electronic conversion kit w/dizzy P3690427
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/DCC-3690427/

Has anyone else had any experiance with this kit, can anyone suggest a different set up, any pro's con's I may be overlooking?

Works very well when installed correctly. I'd upgrade to the electronic volt. reg and alternator. [dual field] . more consistant voltage to power the ign.

That is a very good kit from what I have heard from local people that have it installed in their Mopars. Only other kit I would consider would be MSD but they can be very pricey.

I just used this kit on my 71 about 6 months ago, worked fine, and I agree with Omaha, upgrade the other as well. 78 is right, MSD works well as well, from prvious experience, but expect it to be at least twice as much for the comparable set up.

Just ordered one from the local dealer because they were $50 cheaper than anywhere else.

First time ever for me that something has been cheaper at the dealer!
