Frozen secondaries

I bought the correct Carter 4738 for my car several years ago and its been sitting in a box since. Now that I am ready to have it restored I noticed the secondary linkage is frozen. Can this carburetor still be restored? Thanks

I would think that if you took it apart and worked with it.... it could free up.

You have nothing to lose at this point and that Carter AVS is an easy rebuild! Give it a try!

First get it into a warm place and thaw it out. Then have your cooling system pressure tested to see if you have any internal leaks which would cause damage if you drive the car.

Give it a shot of PB Blaster and let it soak. Should free it up !!
