Frozen antifreeze, please help!!!!!

My 68 newport was put up for the winter, i checked her fluids today and found the radiator was empty!!!!! I added new fluid and found it leaking heavily from mid engine, i can't get up underneith yet due to the location. What kind of damage does this mean??? am i going to need a new block??? Please help!!!!! IM me if you would like to respond that is the fastest contact. Thanks

I assume that one of your freeze plugs popped, you'll need to look up, or around to confirm this.

it is probably just a popped freeze plug on the block
it can be repaired, but the engine has to come out

X3 on the freeze plug.

The antifreeze should never have froze. That means that there was too much water in the mixture.

That does sound like the center freeze plug, but make sure you check the block when you pull the motor. I've had 2 440's that froze, popped the center plug, and then had longitudinal cracks from the freeze plug holes. (Nope, not on me, I got them that way)
