Numbers matching??
If it is not matching, how does that affect the value?
the last line on the fender tag is WS23 83 5 46 514 392940
Vin on the dash plate - ws23 L8 A 296889 (also on the title)
engine block near starter - S24282685 and a casting number of 25364309. 2.26.68
on top D440HP
Manifold - 2806178 2.12.68
trunk - SS or 55 -18-L and center core support 0-91-6 5 or S
Radiator support - 55 or SS 01 (6 or 0 or 8) 94
According to the fender tag (which matches all of the cars options perfect) the build date is 5/14/68
It seems 1968 has a different set of rules.
