Radiator Cooling - A Body Stroker

I have 74 dart with a stroked 360 Magnum. I’ve been runningan electric water pump with a be cool aluminum radiator set up with dualfans. The radiator is leaking and I’mthinking about going back to a mechanical water pump and then buying an OEMtype replacement radiator with a shroud. I live in Texas and it gets pretty hot in the summer. Does anyone have any experience withthis? Any ideas on radiator sizes, Ineed to make sure that I can get a fan shroud to go with the radiator. Be Coolis way too pricey and I’d like to eliminate the electric fans as well as theelectric water pump. Sounds like the bearings are shot in the water pump and Ihave a mechanical water pump that is new.

Can you have your "be cool" rad repaired?
If not,
Get a 3 row rad (that's made for your vehicle), shroud and stock style clutch fan, your new water pump and swap it all over.
You may have to go with a universal shroud...being a magnum motor, it may have been an elec fan orig (?), does your new water pump have a fan hub on it? Or just the pulley hub?

I need to pull the rad to see if it can be fixed. Just checking all bases. The engine was a crate engine, 395 hp with aluminum heads. I then opened it up .060 and stroked it. The pump I have has pulley on it.

Are you going to try to run the fan clutch?

Yes, a clutch type fan was the plan. Has any one used a champion radiator?
