Reverse lights come on while driving forward

Reverse lights come on while driving forward
2005 Chrysler 300 C. Well I'm driving the car. I'll hear it chime. Looking at the dash panel after the chime. My brake light comes on. While I'm driving forward. Or just sitting in park with the car running. And when that occurs. My reverse lights turn on. Well I'm in Drive. Or driving down the road in the car. What could be the problem the module. A bad ground. I'm thinking of disconnecting the reverse lights. Or removing the bulbs.
