No vid but a cool it "happened to me on the way home" story also. Headed home from a friends house, he living out in the 'country' mind you, minding my own business, glance in the mirror a black pontiac coming rapidly. Well we ARE out of the city limits, on a 2 lane that at the moment has light traffic. He proceeds to pass me. I am going 55-60 mph (speedo is non functional) BUT the Poncho IS a good looking car '69 GTO 'vert. Well I wasnt having any of this and the ole thermo quaded 440 is eased into until the speed is matched, gaining ever so slightly. now having eased back up on him, i drop the hammer and the ole Newport does its thermo quad song , fall into left lane and pull the paint off the Goat... The guy said when i went around him his speedo was showing 100 and i just zipped on around and couldnt even start to gain back on me. Cool guy, wasnt all bent, asked what I was running etc. His a 400/400 combo and got spanked by a smogged 440/727 that weighs 5000+lbs. Made me smile that the ole gal could still show that she has/had the oats to go... May she rest in piece tho, thats the car that was hit by a drunk driver a month and a half ago. Just need a project car for the drivetrain ...

Gents -

In some parts of the country (like where I live) anything that resembles a "speed contest" on public roads gets your car/registration confiscated on the spot, with no appeal. So there's nothing I'd care to talk about ...

Hey Old fart: I have a NOS T Quad in my garage. Thinking of installing on my 440 in 71 Challenger. Now has a 650 that I was talked into from Edelbrock. Probably need Intake for spread-bore..

Runs good for you? How worked is your 440?
