thermoquad

I was thinking about putting a thermoquad on my fifth ave but everyone tells me that they are junk. I was wondering if anybody has had any that werent pieces of ****. I was told the polymer center warps if they get to hot but after i put my headers in my engine and engine compartment are noticibly cooler. i also run a 160 degree thermostat in the summer so that may also keep it cooler but was just wondering everyones opinions.

I've got a couple TQ's, good carb, price is right, you can still get rebuild kits for them and if set up right work well. aka " the plastic fantastic "
A lot of them have been damaged by people that don't know how to take them apart though.

I was looking on summit racing and they have holley 2bbl carbs that put out 500 cfm. Is there going to be any difference between a 500cfm 2bbl and a 500 4bbl. i already bought the 4bbl intake but i could make a hell of a profit off of it and was just wondering what else i would get from a 4bbl of the same flow rate.
