Transmission Question

Hi ,i have a 1965 Plymouth belvedere and the drive and neutral mark wont line up on the sterring columm.Can i adjust the cable at the tranny to correct this at the top.I would like the shifter to line up with the numbers.Thanks for any help and Happy Easter

If you have a cable then yes you can. You'll have to adjust it a little and then shift it through all the gears. You might have to do this a couple of times before its just right.

If it is linkage, you can still do it, you just have more spots that you can adjust. Just take it easy with this one and only adjust one spot and then shift it through the gears to make sure that there is no binding.

I'd google it, you might be able to find it online or if someone here has a service manual that they can copy and post here for ya, that would be good.
