Can someone give me an approximate value on a mid 70's 400, its 727 tranny, and a ford 9 inch rear end?

About two year ago I bought a 73 with a 727 and gave $250 for the engine and 100 for the tranny... I was after the 400 block and sold enough parts to have nothing in either.. Re-built the 727 for a racing tranny... Still have both today.....

I just gave $250 for 400/727 that was running when pulled. complete except for carb. But I felt like I stole it. I would say 500-800 for engine/tranny? no clue on 9".
