Question What Motors came stock???

A fella is trying to sell me a 1976 duster, but INSISTS it has a 300 6 in it......
Im not genius, but I feel like I know a descent amount about the dusters, and mopars in general from that era. Am I mistaken that there was not a 300 6 in anything made by mopar between 70 and 76? The only sixes were the little slant six, and the 225, or is there some rare obscure model im unaware of? thanks all.

The 225 slant 6 was the only six available in any Plymouth in 1976.

A 300ci six cylinder is a ford motor that was used in some of the older trucks and full size broncos. I know this only because I had a friend beg and plead with me to build his up.

Ask the guy for a picture.
