1970 318 question

I have a 1973 Plymouth Satellite but it has a 1970 318 In it. I have this sort of loud chirping & whining noise coming from the motor. It's not one of the pulleys because i Ran it with all the belts off, and the noise still continues. I think it may be a cam bearing or maybe the sprocket, i'm not super experienced with cars and don't really want to pull the Intake and carb and Timing Cover unless i really have to, because this is my daily Driver. Any advice would be supper helpful!!!!
Thanks and Love this site!!!!

Welcome. I would pull all the plugs and turn it by hand just to see how it feels and if you turn the wrench back and forth until you feel resistance, this will show the looseness of timing chain. This is what I would usually do if I suspect an internal engine problem. Do you know what engine oil pressure is?
As you turn listen in the torque converter area for possible touching of loose bolts.
