273-360 small block connecting rods

this is one those whos right questions.
my buddy and I were discussing what years the wrist pins floated aka not pressed into small of rod, in the 273-360 series engines. my friend says chrysler only used floating wrist pins in the 318 ploy motors and the 273.
I read somewhere that the pins were floated in the 273,318 and 340 motors.mainly the 318 and 340 used the floating pins till the early 70s then were discontinued when the 360 came into production.

my dodge 1967 dart, coronet, charge, factory service manual shows the 273, 318 pin and rod have a light thumb push fit, at room temp 70 degrees. and i know a 1980 360 is a press fit for the pin in the rod, as is a 1984 318

I don't know "what all" used them. 340's certainly did. All the 318's and 360's I've been into were pressed

MY question is, "who gives a $XXX?
