318 help

318 n 72 plymouth sattilite - ran fine are
At idle but would stall out when given gas, now will not run. Replaced all spark parts
Any help would be great.

Carb/ fuel problem.. Have you checked to see if the accelerator pump is working Have you checked the fuel pressure ???
Checked for spark ??

If it was a timing chain issue it would most likely run like garbage at idle, under accel, decel, ect.

I'd say Carb or Fuel issue as well. Try going through the carb, make sure it's not gunked up. Check for fuel pressure like TV lynn suggested.



EDIT: Any mods done to this 318?

Kinda hard to tell form your description (meaning could be anything). Check the easiest things first - look for vacuum leaks and timing changes.

Ballast resistor will not cause this issue.
