Question 360/408 Head Bolt Sealer ?

What sealer do you guys us on head bolts that go into the water jacket ? -- It's a 360/408 stroker with Edelbrock aluminum heads. Of course it's a steel block. I'm using ARP STUD bolts and Cometic head gaskets. -- Thanks

I was under the impression that 340 / 360 head bolts were "dead ended" in the block Some 318s are wet

- Yep - you are correct, on the 360, and I assume on the 340, also. -- Thanks

Bob's absolutely correct. Permatex Thread Sealant with is PTFE in a tube is your best bet, T-tape no.
