360 Gaskets

I'm sure this is been brought up a lot but head gaskets. lol
I got a stock 360 edel intake headers that's it. I'm engine going together and idk if i should just get a felpro kit and run it or go with separate head gaskets?
Someone said any help in bumping up the compression in these small blocks help. My heads have been resurfaced but block hasn't been touched far as decked or anything.

You can run either head gasket.... Steel Shim or Fel-Pro...
But to answer your question.... The steel shim with give it a slightly higher compression.
