440 Build Up opinions?
Hey just got my hands on a 440 I tore down yesterday to get sent to the machine shop.
Here is my list of parts I think I want I would like opinions on the build I want to stay on pump gas if I can. All I have available is 91. Im 16 and have built 1 small block before this so any help is appreciated!
.509 purple shaft cam
10.1 comp ration flat tops (.030 ovr)
performer RPM intake or Strip Dominator
rebuilt iron heads w/ stronger springs
Speed Demon double pumper or Holley carb
HEI Electric Ignition conversion
1.5 ratio Roller Rockers
2000-2300 stall
And also if its not to blunt of as question, what kind of power will I be looking at?
And I have a set of headers not sure what size though
Would like ideas, better parts or parts I might wanna look into, let me know what you think.

16 years old and on motor number 2? Good for you!
I wouldnt buy the purple cam but if its a freebie that's a different story.
What heads ( casting number ) are you running and what exhaust are you using?
And lastly what are you trying to achieve? Flat street band, ET, Max HP? How heavy is vehicle?
Sorry about asking questions on a question but the motor must compliment its intended application for you to be happy with the build IMO.

If all my plans workout ill have an A body to put it in. But im looking to getting into drag racing but kind of want this motor to keep its street manners. With the crower cam what would you suggest? And i can get the casting after work tonight. To keep it more streetable should i look into a different cam and maybe 9.5 CR pistons?

You can run 10.1:1 on 93 octane with no problems (I'm running a bit above that).
The purple shafts are "classic" Mopar, but even back in the day, weren't considered the best option. Sorry, can't tell you what's "best" these days.
For a street-able engine, your biggest concern might be vacuum. That might mean keeping the cam on the conservative side or running an auxiliary vacuum pump.
The HEI ignition probably isn't worth the conversion, since the Mopar ECUs work well and are very reliable, but you'll get different opinions on that.
Agree with the manifold and carb selection, but the actual CFM will depend on the cam and other factors.
Converter stall is "OK", but you really have to figure out or research the power band on the cam, and choose a stall accordingly. (My set up is similar to yours, but using a 3000 stall converter.) Gear ratio also factors in.
Don't forget headers and exhaust - and that will be body specific.

No reason to run points these days. Look into the Mopar ECUs (stock, orange, chrome or gold boxes).
They sell kits with the distributor, ECU, harness, etc. from both Mopar and the aftermarket
