Carter 1409 marine carb

I have a 66 Sport Fury with a 383 and Torque Flight trans. It's completely stock with about 100k. The stock carb is being rebuilt by a shop, but I want to drive it to a couple of events next week. I have a Carter 1409 carb in good working order, that will work on it. My issue is that I cannot connect my vacuum advance as the carb doesn't have ports to accommodate. The 1409 is a marine carb, that doesn't use vacuum ports. Anyone know if they can be drilled open or another method to run the vacuume advance? Any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
