Howard Cam for 440
Howard Cam for 440
Hi,
I just joined mopar forums and need some info if I can get it.
I am building a 440 (68 Charger HP block) for my 1951 Hudson Hornet coupe at Hot Rod Institute in Rapid City, SD.
After literally 87 hours of research on the engine alone and much theory study on how I want my engine to function and perform for its particular use, I bought the 440 to 512 stroker kit from 440 source. I am running their Stealth Aluminum heads and a Howard mechanical roller cam .555 lift. My question is regarding the Howard camshaft, I know they have been around for a long time but does anyone have any knowledge of this cam in particular? A video with this cam would be greatly appreciated if anyone has a clip of their engine running a Howard solid roller.
Thank you
