Intake Manifold For 360?
So i'm cleaning up my 360 and i pulled the 10 ton cast 4bbl intake off and was looking to replace with a lighter aluminum one for the lightness and less emission crap. Well i see small block mopar intakes used are $$$$$ to me there to much even used on ebay.
This is a all stock 360 with q-jet carb. I found a edelbrock torker 340 for $60 and a offenhauser for $125 but both are open plenum and i heard that's not to good for stock/street use. Plus id have to get a q-jet adapter plate for it.

You are just as well off with a stock iron manifold. Ask any Mopar LA Stock Eliminator racer, you will find very little if any performance gain with an aluminum intake.
Grind off the emissions flanges?
You can take the underside heat shield off and remove about 5 lbs of carbon build up as well.
