Stripped Intake manifold at thermostat housing?

Spent the better half of Sunday afternoon replacing my recored radiator, hoses, thermostat...etc. When I went to replace the housing for the thermostat I noticed one bolt felt stripped (just bought the car). Anyway the obvious occurred when I started it. Water and antifreeze everywhere. Any suggestions on what to do for this problem?

what is the motor and vehicle?

If the threads are in the intake, then you might be able to use a heli-coil to fix it...

Or upgrade the intake

Did the bolt break, or were the threads stripped? You may just be able to re-tap it, without seeing it I can't assess the the damage.
