Is there any after market replacement for a 78 CA smog 4bbl. The TQ on my truck is garbage and I can seem to find a replacement.
The truck is a 78 D200 with a 360. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

 

I think the Summit has a couple replacement's that mite be C.A.R.B. Certified... But I would suggest checking B.A.R. before buying one...

 

Have you tried to rebuild it ? I have a bunch of TQ parts & carbs but they have been setting around for 10-15 years. what is wrong with yours ? I also have an older carter 9635 electric choke, that would work great on a 360 but you would need an adapter. Where are you in Cal

 

Have you looked at an Edelbrock? I believe they have C.A.R.B. approved carburetors. You can probably pick one up at Summit or Jegs. Jegs has a 20% off thing going on with code: spring20 Not that I'm promoting any website. Just trying to help.
