Is there a new and improved header gasket?

Well I have old headers on my two 440's and I have always had little leaks between the siamese ports in the center of the heads. The old fix was take two Mr. Gasket header flange gaskets and put Number One Permatex between them and that would be your best bet to solve the problem. Well with the advancement of products that we're all seeing and enjoying today has some one made a thick or thicker header gasket for this kind of problems?
Just thought i would throw this question out there being I am sorting out ALL the little problems with my show cars.

Thanks for any suggestions or help with this.

I have had luck with the Mr Gasket Ultra seals....
But I have also had to have headers removed to have them Belt sanded flat again. You know the ones that are bowed way to much and just wont seal.

It seems we've all come up with different tricks to get the job done. The general problem with headers is they are a PIA to get in. Plus they get damaged by forcing them into position and I have to admit I am guilty of that. But if the Mr. Gasket ultra's are the "new" ticket I'll have to check them out. I truly don't want to remove these headers from the vehicle. But I can slip them off the studs and change gaskets I'll look into them and come up with something.

As usual I appreciate you guys taking your time to respond with your idea's.
