Smile Torker II vs Performer RPM on 493 stroker!

Hi guys,

I bought Blueprint engines 493 stroker engine (525HP/590ftlb) and have two questions regarding intake manifold.

Right now I have Torker II on my old 440 engine and want to hear your opinions, do I need to change this IM for Performer RPM or not?

The car will be holiday driver not drag racer. Is it possible at all to recognize difference in engine performances between these two IM?

Thanks.

Check the rpm range of both manifolds... Choose the one that best fits the operating rpm of the Cam in the engine you bought..

I run the RPM on my 499 stroker, great low end and it pulls to 6 grand. Remember, the listed rpm range is based on 440ci, more cubes drops the sweet spot (why it pulls to 6000 eludes me). I've always wanted to try a Victor though. Oh yeah, to answer your question...yes on the Performer RPM.
