Hi im new to the forum and new to cars in general, i would like to know where to get tall velocity stack 5 inches or bigger, and how to put them on a 4 bbl carb

Now do these just go directly on top of the carb, and also would performance change with 4 stacks, compared to one large one

I read that the proper length stack creates "sonic supercharging" at high rpms. Something about frequency waves, don't know how true it is and I'm too lazy to research it.

I think that applies more toward Mechanical Injected than Carberated stuff.
Dont get me wrong... I do think there cool...... They do work to a point.. There is a window where they do have some gain... But for the most part... There for looks...
But Hay... If Gean Adams said put them on the old A/Fuel Dragster.... You bet they would be on there in a hart beat !!!

My Good Friend (Pete the (Greek) as we new him, use to have a whole garage full of these, and those wonderful 300's to go with them.
Just an FYI, Pete won the winternationals at Pomona in 1965 in the M&V Automotive entry out of Pasadena Ca. with an injected small block chevy. But he loved hemi cars.
