I have a 69 hp 440 engine. Would the crankshaft be the same as one in a 71 440 block?

Only difference would be Steel or Forged... But yes... Its the same... only thing to watch is if the end is made for a automatic or a 4 speed... Some machining is needed some times...

It opens other problems as too balance between the cast & forged... Personally I would ONLY use a forged crank
