Sorry if this is a topic that is already discussed. I’m a jeep guy and new to the dodge trucks. My dad bought a 1978 D400 brush Truck with 19,000 miles and has been using it as a daily driver converted into a general purpose truck. It has the 360 with a 4 speed and the full time 4 wheel drive. He is really unhappy with the performance of the full time 4x4 and I was wondering if there is a transfer case that can be swapped in or transmission and transfer case combo that we can look for to swap in to have selectable 4 wheel drive. Thank you for your help and advice, I lack knowledge of compatabilities on these components
