1978 W150 Power Wagon part-time 4x4 conversion

Hello, All! New member here!
I have a 1978 Power Wagon w150 with the full-time 4x4 and I'd like to convert it to part-time 4x4. I heard from a buddy who used to work on these trucks brand new and he was saying that there was some 'shim' that I can put in and make it part-time without any major work.
The trick is a 360 with the 4speed standard transmission. I don't know the exact names for it or the t-case.
Any help is appreciated!

oh yes ok so you have the 203 case. yeah you can convert it to p/t or get a 205.

https://ck5.com/forums/resources/mil...t-time-kit.68/ something like that is what ya want. but how come? i love the 203's fulltime 4x4 myself.

Cant you just change the front Differential to a locking hub style to make it Part Time?
