Does this code mean that an update is required for the pump control module or is this a mechanical issue in the transmission?

 

this tests the electrical connections beyond where just a load test on the battery does or a multimeter just across the battery.. the battery negative. is connected to at to the engine and the body.. the engine is also connected to the body somehow.. i don't have access to that new a wiring diagram manual..
