32rh changed fluid, now 2-3 shift is destroyed.
Well. I had a detailed post wrote up but it's gone, lol.
Changed the gasket, filter, fluid and dipstick tube oring. I did NOT want to drop the pan but the rear of the pan had developed a leak, as well as the infamous oring.
Put everything back together, and find out that the 2-3 upshift has gone to the wind....
On light/slow speed throttling it shifts fine. Anything else and it'll rev out in 2nd and won't shift unless I remove my foot from the gas, depending on speed when it does this, it either slams into gear, or just revs until the van slows by 3-5 mph then engages.
Temp makes no difference, the tv cable is set correctly. I have dropped the pan again and adjusted the rear band, and the front external. No other gears have the issue, no delay into rev or drive.
And what's really confusing is it was PERFECT before dropping the pan (minus the leaks). There was the expected amount of junk in the pan when I initially dropped it, nothing severe.
I have been reading Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep forums for the last week trying to get a grasp on what the issue is. Sadly, it seems that the knowledge of how to work on the full hydraulic units is becoming lost to time, unless it's the performance guys talking about shift kits and stall speeds.
I'm just wondering if anyone can shed any light on this.
Thanks!

Iowan, I should have worded my first line better.
I had a nice, detailed post wrote up. Then I got a call, by the time I got back to the post the system had logged me out and it was gone.
Tv cable. I'm going to remove it from the throttle linkage tomorrow and take it for a spin around the block to see what happens. According to some info I found digging around, the trans should go thru all of the gears in very short order without the cable on to command the timing.
My dad had a toyota previa for years, one day the trans started acting goofy, found out that tv cable on that was open from both ends, one end submurged in fluid, other end open to the engine area. As a result the natural venting effect it had eventually clogged the tv cable tube/jacket and the cable became stuck at approx 70% throttle.
For the previa.... A $40 cable and about 15 minutes of work returned it to normal. I hope something similar will happen here, but I'm fully prepared to junk the van just in case, as I have zero intention of spending any serious $$ on a vehicle that was given to me.
I'll update tomorrow.
