I was taking the trans apart but the rear clutch assembly would not come out complete as described. I took the front clutch off to see if that helped as it came off easily. After trying again the whole lot came out with the intermediate shaft assembly. So i still cannot part the rear clutch from the intermediate shaft assembly, it moves around when i pull on the shaft but it just doesn't want to come out. Maybe its been put together wrong on the last rebuild but everything looks in fairly good condition so far , or maybe the clutch plates are seized as holding the intermediate shaft i am unable to turn the output shaft by hand.
Anyone have any ideas as to what could be holding it in or how to part it.

I have now managed to turn the input shaft with a pipe wrench holding the output shaft in a vice so it is very tight but moves with some effort. The clutch plates are obviously sticking so only thing i can think of now is the teeth on the friction plate have fused themselves to the hub but must've got extremely hot to do this.
