Trying to decode this and I don't know if I'm doing it wrong, or if it's a much later transmission than the seller was aware of.

Seller tells me late 70s. It's marked that it came off a 318 and is either 67 or 87; mark isn't clear. Calendar decoder seems to indicate it is from 1987?

Double check the part # doesn't seem right. date code 9426 sows up as being may19,1987. 9591 was the number built that day

 

I don't know if this will help Usually their is a stamped # on the top of the trans valve body inside of a star like circle
