91/4 on my 88 Diplomat

So I go and try to mount my new snowflake/starburst rims on the dip and they will not fit Grrrrr. What can I do?

Swap back to the 71/4s from the 83 Fifth donor car I am stripping.
If so where can I get the u-bolts?
Can I just swap shafts?
I really don't want the 91/4 for when I need new brake parts.

I guess the owner, one owner back put it on for better street gears.

And even better I can't get the lug nuts off with my 1/2 inch drive impact gun. So now I have to heat them first. The center area at the lug nuts was painted red on each front rim.

What to do?
Dwight

What did the 9 1/4 come out of ?? Later trucks had a 5 on 5 bolt patten. If it is mid 60's It may have left hand threads on one side (drivers ??)
