Bell housing bolts

I have a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500, 4.7, 545 RFE transmission. I'm looking for the bell housing to engine mounting bolts. They aren't available through Mopar anymore because they were discontinued in 2011. The problem is that I can't match anything up. The ones that were in it backed out and the lone one that was left was busted. How it stayed together I will never know. Any recommendations on bolt replacement for this? I'm thinking junkyard provided they save such items. Kinda at an impasse here until I get this bolt set. Thanks in advance

Wow.. Not sure of the exact size????
But could you not just use the SAE grade 8 bolts from a local parts house?

I suppose I could. All but one was missing. It wasn't in hot shape. I'm not sure if there's a specific size or thread type I'm looking for or not. If I can go buy them off the shelf of a hardware store I will, however, NAPA doesn't sell them, O'Reilly's doesn't, and Mopar quit packaging in 2011.

I see.... Maybe someone will jump in here that has one they can give you the measurements for?
If not, Call your local Dealer and they should be able to give you the size and or correct dimensions...
I'll poke around and see what i can find out.... Ill check back here if I come up with anything for ya...

Thanks

Thanks! I'd appreciate it. Finding anything out about them has turned into quite an adventure. I really didn't think it would be all this.

Well, I understand these are a Metric Fastener ? And possible that there are 3 different sizes.. "Go Figure"!!
So, I think i would get the sizes from the dealer for the application of the vehicle.... Or Hit up "I Do Cars" on the YouTube site and see if he can look at one of his engines and send you a bolt set?
But it seems the inter Web is all over the place with the answer...

Crazy.... And your so rite.... Something so simple can really put the brakes on what your trying to fix.... Keep us posted how you come out....

Cheers

It has stopped me cold! You're right...they are metric sizes. I don't know if it's three different sizes but it's definitely two that I'm aware of. Thanks for the YouTube tip. I'll check him out today. Anything to get my baby back on the road.

Thanks much!
