Hello everyone,

I just joined this forum. I have a 1988 W150 and I want to switch over to a manual transmission. Can I use the same transfer case? I just started thinking about this project and I am in the planning stage now. I tried to google it but didn't find what I was looking for. Anyone with ideas or advice I would greatly appreciate it. Here is a pic of the truck.

 

It’s been my experience with Dodge that they use the same transfer case for the manual transmission. But now that I have said that. lol

 

As far as I remember.... Yes you can use the same case..... Keep us posted on how the project is coming along... Cheers
