Trans temps?

My friend just put a new TCI 727 in his Charger. He ran the trans lines thru the radiator and then to an extra cooler. He said it still seems to be running hot. What temps should he be seeing? Thanks

Also, where does the temp sending unit plumb in? Line out(where it's hottest) or return(after it's been Cooled)?

Thanks again guys

I think 175*F is about the norm for trans temps. I would plumb two units in that way you know how hot your trans is and if your cooling system is up to snuff. You can always remove the one in the line returning to the trans later on.
