Question 1969 Road Runner Drum Brake Help Needed

I am restoring a 1969 Road Runner and I want to keep the drum brakes. I am having trouble installing the auto adjusters on the front brakes. (I have not attempted the rear brakes yet). I was wondering if any one has a picture of their vehicle with the auto adjusters installed. I have the 11 inch drums on front.

Yea I heard that before to change to discs if i plan on driving. Howerver, i spoke to alot of the old timers (Iam an oltimer too) and they said that the 11 inch drums will stop the Road Runner. I agree though that discs would be better as stopping distances are surely better with the discs. will wait and see how see stops i guess. TVLynn makes a good point though, and on my other cars I have converted to discs. thanks for the thought TVLynn

Missed that. You have 11" drums ? Most had 10x2.5 drums marginal.. I remember back in the early 70's I went to the junk yard and got a set of 11x3' drums off a Chrysler and put them on my Coronet
