66 Belvedere front bearings

Hey guys, I have a 66 Belvedere with front drum brakes and I want to replace the brakes and also the inner/outer bearings on both sides. I am having trouble getting the outer bearing race out and also I can't figure out how to get the inner bearing/bearing race out as well. I don't have a press and was wondering how I can get these things removed. I only have today and tomorrow to do this so I was really hoping to finish up asap. It never works out like I plan haha.

I'm assuming your talking about the hub?
If so, take a punch and through the middle of the hub you should be able to tap the back outer race out from the front working your way round the race, and vice versa new seals are in order i think. When changing bearings i like to keep the old races and use them with a hammer and a block of wood to start the new race into position.
I hope this helps.

Yes, I just got the bearing and grease seal out with a long punch so hopefully now once I go buy a couple new seals I can come back and tackle the races and they should come out almost the same way.

Thanks, Nick

THEY will be a "B" but will come out with a punch and a BIG hammer Move the punch around so as not to **** the race. Grind the outer edge of the old race and us it to drive the new one in.. PUT the new race in the freezer for an hour before trying to install it..

Ahh touche,
freezing the race a very good idea, the grinding on the outer of the old race even better.
