73 challenger Power to Manual brakes

Hey new to the forum! Question about the Power to Manual brakes for the 73 dodge challenger. This car was originally power brakes. this is a 4 bolt master cylinder. the car has front disc rear drum brake. To attach the master cylinder to the firewall do they make an adapter plate for it to line up? Hoping someone has done this before and can give me some insight. Thanks!

You can use the same master cyl. You need the re reinforcement plate that goes on the firewall and the correct brake pedal to master rod

Using that adapter plate makes me go to a 2 bolt master cylinder. Is there such a thing where i can use the 4 bolt MC?

You need to use the newer style master with that adapter . Any A,B,E and many others will have the plate so there are a lot of options

Thanks for the link. basically i have 3 options

*switch to a 2 bolt pattern MC
*have a custom adapter plate made
*user the 4 bolt pattern MC and drill the holes in the firewall (which is what i am doing)

with either of these 3 you still need the pushrod which you can order from performanceonline.com for $16.99
